How to qualify for membership
As part of your application, we need to confirm your eligibility. You may have received an email asking for proof, and we’re here to guide you through what that means. Don’t worry– anyone can join a co-op if they don’t already qualify – so we’ll guide you through the process.
Who qualifies for Membership?
You’re already eligible to join The Money Co-op if you:
✅ Work in retail, a co-op, a charity, or housing – upload a recent payslip via the link we sent you.
✅ Are a member of a co-op or Usdaw (the trade union) – send us a picture of your membership card.
Not a member of a Co-op yet? No problem!
If you don’t meet the above criteria yet, you can join a co-op before becoming a member of The Money Co-op. This is open to everyone, can be done online and only takes a few moments. Pick whichever you prefer – this might be the one that operates in your area.
