Supporting your saving journey
Saving is an important part of improving your financial wellbeing. It has plenty of positive benefits, like reducing stress, providing a financial safety net and making your goals attainable. But we know it’s not always simple.
Here’s how we can help you to make saving easier:
- Step 1: Address any debts you might have
Maybe you’ve got debts with other lenders mounting up. Choose our consolidation loan to combine your debts into one monthly payment and feel the pressure ease knowing you’re taking back control. With a consolidation loan, you simplify your reducing multiple payments into one. This can lower your monthly debt costs and help you pay off debts faster. It could also improve your credit score over time by demonstrating consistent, reliable repayments.
Heads up – all loan applications need to follow our Loan Approval Policy. If it turns out this loan isn’t right for you, no worries – we’ll still help you find the best way forward. - Step 2: Start small
Once you’re on top of payments, use our savings calculator to work out how much you can afford to save each month. Even if it’s just a few pounds, it all adds up! - Step 3: Decisions, decisions
Congratulations! You’ve done the hardest part by getting started. Now choose a savings account based on what you’re saving for and set a goal amount. Want to keep some emergency funds handy? Our Regular Saver is the one for you. Saving for a car or home renovations? Check out our Saver Plus. Got a holiday coming up or planning ahead for Christmas? We reward our savers for being part of our member community with an annual dividend (like interest) on their savings. That’s not the only benefit–you can feel good knowing your savings help fund loans* for others in our community.
We make saving simple through payroll deductions if you work for one of our employer partners or direct debit. We don’t stop there–you can get involved in some fun saving challenges too!
Saving isn’t always easy, of course. But we’re here to help you get on the right track and feel more positive about your finances.
