Ready for some exciting news? We’ve rebranded!
Say hello to The Money Co-op. A new name, a slick new logo and a shiny new website. It’s a big change, but it’s a good one.
We’re still the credit union you’ve always known and trusted. But as our community has grown and changed, we needed to evolve too—better reflecting where we’re at today.
Read on to find out why we decided to rebrand and how we’re setting our members up for an even brighter financial future. We’re thrilled to have you with us on this journey.
When everything changed…
2024 was the year we evolved our brand to keep up with the growing needs of our community. Our old identity served us well for over 26 years—reflecting our roots as an ethical, not-for-profit co-op run by members, for members. That hasn’t changed, it got us to where we are now.
We reimagined our brand to represent who we are today. After plenty of strategising and considering you every step of the way, we developed a better-aligned name, fresh visuals and a more user-friendly website. It’s a re-brand that our entire community can be proud of…
Growing with the times
We’ve grown significantly since 1998. We’ve been able to expand our common bond to welcome even more members. Who we are, what we do and what we stand for, is now clear for everyone.
Feedback from our members revealed that many people in the Co-op community were unaware of the credit union or how we could help them. The same goes for our wider audiences who weren’t sure if our services were just for Co-op employees. Our digital presence was outdated and the old branding blurred member communications. We needed to provide greater clarity to support more people who value ethical, community-led financial services.
Our old brand identity couldn’t keep up with the needs of our growing community. We’ve reached a point where we need to grow and flourish. We took the opportunity to revisit our values and reaffirm what we stand for—and how a brand refresh could encapsulate every part of The Money Co-op. By reaffirming our personality, key messages and tone of voice, we’ve ensured that our visual identity has evolved with the rest of the organisation and our members. This entire process reflects our commitment to grow alongside the communities we serve.
How does it affect you?
We’re still the organisation you know and love, but even better.
At the heart of our rebrand is our ongoing commitment to ethical finance, fairness and our communities. We’re now at a place where we want to support everyone on their financial journey, no matter what that looks like. The Money Co-op is about providing access to fair, affordable loans and flexible savings with transparency and integrity.
As a co-operative, our members are also our owners. Every decision we make will always be in your best interest. This rebrand has helped us change our messaging to make sure we’re helping you access the financial products that support your growth, whether you’re new to managing finances or an experienced saver.
We’re committed to improving how we communicate with you. We’re working on sending out timely and relevant updates to keep you up-to-date and informed—without overwhelming you. Our new website is all about a more user-friendly experience. We’ve made it much easier to navigate. Whether you want to know about your saving and borrowing options, or fancy learning more about how to do more with your money on our knowledge hub.
Being a member of The Money Co-op isn’t just about the pennies and pounds. You’re part of a community that supports each other, making a positive impact together. You’re part of the reason we got this far, imagine just how much further we could go now!
The start of something wonderful
This rebrand marks the beginning of an exciting journey, and we’re thrilled for what’s to come. It’s a reflection of our commitment to continually improve while staying true to our core values and the community we serve. The best is yet to come, and we can’t wait to share more with you soon.
We’re still the same, just better—and we’re here to continue supporting you every step of the way. Any questions? We’d love to hear them.
